The Clark County Fire Department

We are the largest paid fire department in the State of Nevada. We employ 614 Fire Fighters, 58 Prevention and Investigation officers, 50 Administration, Training, and Support employees. We are also proud to have Nevada’s largest volunteer force of 350 employees. We operate 27 fire stations with paid employees and 13 volunteer fire stations. The services we provide include:
  • Urban Fire Services
  • Rural Fire Services
  • Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting
  • Emergency Medical Services including Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Life Support (Paramedic Program)
  • Hazardous Materials Response Team
  • Technical Rescue including:
    • Urban Search and Rescue Team (FEMA National Response Team)
    • Confined Space Rescue
    • Heavy Rescue
    • Swift Water Rescue
  • Fire Prevention
  • Fire Investigation
  • Disaster and Emergency Preparedness
  • Public Education
